Using a professional medical device called a “microneedling pen,” we can cause “micro-injuries” under the skin causing minimal discomfort to the patient. The purpose of causing these micro-injuries to your body is to stimulate your skin’s natural healing process. When your skin is punctured your body responds by producing collagen and elastin allowing your body to heal from the inside out and grow healthy new skin. This process is well-known for stimulating your body’s collagen production and treating areas around the body like the face, neck, décolleté, arms, hands, legs, abdomen, and back. Microneedling Downtime

We can expect minimum downtime, and you can resume most normal activities immediately, since we are causing “micro-injuries” under the skin it is normal and expected to experience redness, minor bruising, and some swelling within the first 24-48 hours.

Microneedling Results

We recommend 3-5 treatments, six weeks apart (depending on the area treated and patient goals). The process of collagen production begins 5 days following each treatment and continues slowly over time, reaching its peak about twelve weeks post-treatment.

Microneedling is safe for all skin types, has little to no downtime and there are virtually no side effects.
